The Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program is a federally funded and state-administered scholarship program. You must apply for this scholarship by contacting the State Education Agency. Some states have requirements that the applicants must be nominated by the high school guidance counselor. High school graduates must have been accepted for enrollment at a college to apply. Proof of acceptance is a required documentation to be included with the application for the Byrd Honors Scholarship in every state in which it is awarded.
There must be an outstanding academic record, and they must show promise of success in their higher education.
